ABOUT TANDERA FILMES /
TANDERA FILMES's main focus is the development and production of Cinema projects and TV series , but it also works in partnership with other areas such as visual arts , performance , dance and theater.
The producer has in its curriculum more than 6 short films , a series , a miniseries and a feature film , among which stand out the award-winning short films BRIDE OF GOD and NACOS DE PELE and the feature BALANÇA MAS NÃO CAI. His works were exhibited in more than 40 countries and awarded at several important national and international festivals, in addition to being sold in movie theaters, on the internet and on several pay and open TV channels.
He currently develops audiovisual projects that investigate contemporaneity through the body and its numerous possibilities of expression and meanings, especially through performance in partnership with renowned artists, such as Ayrson Heráclito, Jo Clifford, Paula Garcia, Berna Reale, Rodrigo Braga and artists from Minas Gerais such as Marco Paulo Rolla, Ana Luisa Santos, Ludmilla Ramalho, Marc Davi, Janaína Tábula, Guilherme Morais, among others.

THE DIRECTOR /
LEONARDO BARCELOS holds a bachelor's degree in Social Communication from UFMG and a Postgraduate degree in Communication, New Technologies and Hypermedia from UNI-BH. He directed and scripted a series (10 episodes), a feature film and six short films , in addition to being in constant contact with other areas of activity: such as fine arts, dance, theater and performance .
He was a VJ at the Electronic Festival, made the video installation BigBang and the video performance Vão. His works were exhibited and marketed in more than 40 countries and awarded at several important national and international festivals (Havana, São Paulo, Rio, New York, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, Barcelona, Malaga, etc.). His first feature film BALANÇA MAS NO CAI had a significant career in festivals, in addition to being released commercially in movie theaters and on TV channels.
In 2020 he completed the feature film CORPO PRESENTE , pre-produced the medium length film CRU / RAW , the series CARTOGRAFIAS DO CORPO and released the short film ROSA .
TRAJECTORY AND PARTNERSHIPS /
TANDERA FILMES was one of the legal branches of the Teia space with works exhibited and awarded at some of the most important film festivals in Brazil (Festival de Brasília, Festival do Rio, Tiradentes Exhibition, It's all true, etc.); International (Venice, Toronto, San Sebastian, Locarno, Rotterdam, etc.), and are displayed and installed in museums such as MoMA and New Museum (NY), Musée d'Ethnographie Neuchatel (Switzerland), Inhotim (Brazil) , among others .
For years, Leonardo Barcelos worked with several professionals and collectives , especially Teia together with Clarissa Campolina, Helvécio Marins, Marília Rocha, Pablo Lobato and Sérgio Borges, in addition to Bicolor, Cristiano Simões and collaborations with O Grivo and o partner of two shorts Hélio Lauar.
It maintains creative partnerships with Vagner Jabour, Tiago Tereza, Christiane Tassis and more recently with the producer Trem Chic, including Eder Santos, André Hallak, Leandro Aragão, Barão Fonseca and Joana Braga.
